The Wiki works the same as any other Wiki e.g. Wikipedia. The concept is that several Translators can make changes in the same page. If you are not used to working with a Wiki, please practice on our dedicated playground before you start translating. More information about working with a Wiki can be found here.
No, you don’t have to translate brand names or any other words that are hard to translate. Just leave it as it is in western script.
We regularly develop new features for the applications and the site. We will try to add the new words well in advance but sometimes it just happens last minute.
Some bad translations are mistakes or spelling errors. We are happy if you correct them in the Wiki. However, if you are not sure, please leave a comment on the message board and you can discuss it with someone who speaks the same language to avoid mistakes.
Unfortunately, we do not pay you in money. Our community of Translators consists solely of volunteers and the only thing we can give you is a huge thank you!!! Of course we don’t want to leave your efforts unnoticed and therefore you can add your name to the contributor’s list.
If you think your question could be interesting for other Translators, you can leave your question on the message board. Your question will be answered a.s.a.p. and this way other Translators can see the answer as well. All other questions and remarks can be mailed directly to me translation@ebuddy.com.
